Robert M. Jones, President 

Robert Jones is the President of TPREI, where he is responsible for operations and financial management.  Mr. Jones has over fourteen years of experience in the real estate industry organizing and implementing corporate real estate investments that involve: the acquisition and sale of real property, property and asset management, assessment of current leasehold interests, analysis of relocation alternatives and lease negotiations. As the president of Torrey Pines Real Estate Investments, Mr. Jones currently owns and/or manages four projects in California and one project in Scottsdale, Arizona, totaling 150,000 square feet and worth over $50 million. 

Notable transactions include:

• the purchase of a $8 million mixed-use property in Scottsdale, AZ
• the purchase and subsequent sale of a class “A” office building located in La Jolla, CA for approximately $19 million and $26 million respectively (a 36% profit in 18 months)
• the sale of a retail building located in Palo Alto, CA and subsequent purchase of a class “B” office building located in Aliso Viejo, approximately $6.5 million and $7.55 million respectively
• the purchase of a retail center located in Temecula, CA for $5.5 million
• the purchase of a retail center located in Maryland for $6 million
• the purchase of an industrial building in Boulder, CO for $5.5 million

Mr. Jones previously served as a Senior Vice President at Irving Hughes, the largest tenant representation commercial real estate firm in San Diego.  Prior to that, he worked for Cushman Realty Corporation, where he also represented the interest of tenants. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Nevada at Reno and is a licensed real estate broker in California.

Megan J. Richardson, Property Manager 

Megan Richardson is the Property Manager of TPREI; she is responsible for the operations, accounting and management for all assets.

Ms. Richardson graduated from San Diego State University with Honors where she received her B.A. in English with an emphasis on British Literature.  She later went on to receive her Master’s degree in Education.  She is a California licensed real estate sales person.
